Hello. I'm Amanda. And I LOVE food! I love cooking food, eating food, and learning as much as I can about food. Unfortunately food is just a passion and a hobby of mine. (I work in the construction industry as an estimator for a large commercial contractor because, well, we have bills to pay.) I view cooking as an expression of love and what I put on the plate as an extention of myself. "Who am I cooking for?" you might ask. My husband, Kyle, is my main "guinea pig" and biggest supporter. We met at LSU in 2004 and were married in May 2009. He is absolutely the love of my life and my best friend. We live in Houston, TX with our two babies (aka pugs) Rocco and Sully.
Well, that's just the basics I guess. You will, I'm sure, learn more about me along the way. I hope you will join me on this journey I call my life, wherever it may lead us...
